Facilities & Support Services

Students registered in the SUSTAGRI Programme will have full access to all the Partners' academic, welfare and other support services. Also noteworthy is the attention to disability and special educational needs from the Diversity and Inclusión Unit, an office in charge of offering social and inclusive programs and seeking solutions for students with special educational needs.

Before starting the SUSTAGRI programme, the UPNA, as the coordinating partner, will provide support in arranging accomodation, visa procedures, and how to open a bank account.

Bank Account

Since you are receiving a Scholarship, you will need to provide the SUSTAGRI staff with the information related to your bank account.

  • The students should open a bank account in Spain. UPNA has an agreement with a bank that allows our students to open bank accounts free of charge.

Immigration documents

Student visa

Citizens and residents of the European Union do not require a visa to enter in Spain. With an identity card or passport they may live in Spain as long as they want. However, as long as they are going to live in Spain for more than three months, they will have to apply for an EU Citizen Registration Certificate upon arrival.

Citizens of the rest the world need a visa in their passport if they are going to stay more than 90 days in Spain. The student visa is processed directly at the Consulates. The university will provide a letter of admission to the master's degree in order to obtain the student visa.

The SUSTAGRI Consortium assists students with their visa applications. They must apply for a student visa before leaving their country of residence, and they are obliged to go personally to the Spanish Consulate to submit the required documentation. Visas are not issued in Spain. Trying to enter Spain without a necessary student visa will likely lead to refusal, and no emergency procedure is available. Your country of origin embassy in Spain, cannot assist in this matter.
